Read MoreThanks for a thorough overview. The format of this training is excellent, and breakout of the material is remarkable. The clear design is very helpful and I like how it is designed with the 8 syllabus areas on the exam. It is so easy to listen to both Jon and Eve. The format of the training videos is really easy to follow and I feel set up for success on the exam. I really appreciate all the work you put into the training and the live sessions were great!

Because it's an online exam with remote proctoring you'll need a webcam, mic, and a good internet connection. You can use two monitors but they must be connected to a single device.
Yes. You're allowed to have APMP's Body of Knowledge open in your web browser and the APMP Opportunity/Capture Practitioner OTE Preparation Guide (there's a useful Industry Glossary of Terms at the back).
There are no guarantees in life but taking this course will help you to be as prepared as you possibly can. We’ve sat and passed the exam, so we can show you what to expect, what you need to know, and what it’ll be like.
Objective test exams (OTE) are different to multiple choice exams. Multiple choice exams test your ability to know and understand facts. OTEs are different in style. In an OTE, the questions test your ability to apply your knowledge of APMP best practices at two recognised learning levels: Learning Level 3 - 'Application of best practices for a given situation within a scenario'; and Learning Level 4 - 'Separation of a complex idea into its constituent parts and an understanding of organisation and relationship between the parts'. This includes realising the distinction between hypothesis and fact as well as between relevant and extraneous variables. The learning levels are defined in Bloom's taxonomy of educational objectives (1956). That's why!
This course includes lessons that cover the key syllabus topics in the exam. You can find these in Chapter 4 of the course. We also advise that you read the recommended sections of APMP’s Body of Knowledge, which is available to APMP members at www.apmp.org.
Yes. It’s a 2.5-hour exam, just like the real exam, and will help you understand the layout and OTE exam nuances. You can take the practice exam by visiting https://sampleexams.apmg-international.com/Marlin/SamplePapers.aspx and selecting "APMP Capture Practitioner" from the dropdown menu. Be aware that the scenario will be different from the real exam.
The APMP certification programme is administered by The APM Group Ltd. The APM Group is a leading accreditation, certification and qualification organisation recognised internationally by government agencies.
Check out APMP’s published pricelist for the latest information, including news of special limited period discounts, at https://www.apmp.org/page/AccreditPriceList.
